On the 23rd of May Moscow welcomed back the participants of the motor rally «The Journey of Peace». This project was accomplished by seven vehicles
The cars passed 8 000 km across Russia from White to the Black Sea, stopping more than in 15 cities. Coming to St. Petersburg, Medvezhyegorsk, Petrozavodsk, Belomorsk, Vologda, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Vladimir, Suzdal, Voronezh, Sochi, Krasnaya Polyana, Maikop, Elista, Volgograd, the Goose Iron, Tula and even the capital of the Russian remote places — legendary Uryupinsk.
«The Journey of Peace» of spring 2015 — is the first part of the big project «The Journey of Peace» in the regions of Russia. Motor rally lays cultural and tourist routes on the Russian map, noting the centers of traditional crafts and all types of modern and applied art.
Since May 24th the UAZ cars participating in motor rally and a hundred and twenty best art works collected during «The Journey of Peace» will be exposed in GUM (The State Department Store).
In St. Petersburg, Vologda, Vladimir and Sochi within «The Journey of Peace» the author’s art event of the Creative Cluster IGRA3000 called «The Bench of Peace» took place, having become a big city holiday in each venue. «The Bench of Peace» it is art outside of walls of the museums. The best artists from the cities in total drew more than 150 benches. Besides, the action brought together citizens on central squares, involving them in numerous master classes in a pottery, weaving and other types of crafts. On the 23rd of May during the XV jubilee festival «Chereshnevy Les» («The Cherry Forest») the motor rally participants presented art results of the journey and indulged in planting of the cherry orchard.
